Some say you should never do business with friends. Well, we got our start in the seed business by doing exactly that…selling the seed we grew to our neighbors…who in this part of the world, are our friends.

And since we wanted to keep our friends, we had to be certain the seed that carried our name would perform in their fields like it does in ours. Our commitment really comes down to this: We will sell no seed that we wouldn’t be happy to plant on our own farm.

That promise is backed up by three things that we will not compromise.

  • We believe in replicated research data - lots of it. And unlike many of our larger competitors, our research is done right here, and tailored to the Northern grower. We know having a research manager on staff allows us to choose our products with the best available information.

  • Our quality is second to none. We’ve raised the bar as to the types of seed quality tests we perform and the standards we must achieve before our product goes out the door. For our farm, we demand the absolute best quality. We know you do too.

  • We’re committed to outstanding service. Whether it’s talking with our CCA certified sales agronomists, or learning about trends in agriculture at Peterson University events, we invest in our customers for the long haul, and answer questions with honesty and integrity.

If these are the commitments you want out of your seed company, then take a look. Because we’re out making new friends in your part of the country, one field at a time.
