So what makes Peterson Farms Seed soybeans different from other brands?
Our Soybean Selection Process
We have the largest and most rigorous replicated soybean testing program in the region. And it is administered by our own research manager – as opposed to relying on data from strip trials and hear say. In fact, our research is so good, nearly every breeding program in the country has our team perform plot research for this region.
Because we test literally hundreds of different genetic combinations every year, we’re able to focus on this region and select the very best varieties for your field conditions.
94% Germination Guarantee – the Highest in the Industry
Soybean germs change over time. That’s why soybean seed can’t be carried over from year-to-year. So to guarantee such a high germ rate, we test and retest! As soybeans come into our plant, we perform soak tests every hour, around the clock, to determine any seeds that have stress points – cracks or wrinkles that may change the germ over time. We label our soybeans at a minimum 94% germination rate – the highest in the industry.
If you’re interested, call to schedule a tour of our soybean processing facility. We’d love to show you the difference!
Seed Count Packaging
We package our soybeans by seed count – 140,000 seeds per unit. You no longer need to worry about the advantages and disadvantages of small-seeded or large-seeded varieties – you can select the right varieties for your fields because they’re the right varieties! And no more worries about buying too much or too little. You can finally get exactly what you order!
We Pride Ourselves At Matching the Right Variety to the Right Field
Our CCA certified sales agronomists truly are the best! They can be trusted to assist you in placing the right variety on the right field. So give us a call or stop by. We’d love the opportunity to help you match the perfect seed to the soil conditions in your particular field.
