Carl Speaks at TEDx Fargo

Early in February, Carl had the opportunity to speak at North Dakota’s first ever TEDx conference in Fargo. TED, a nonprofit organization devoted to spreading ideas, started as a four-day conference in California 26 years ago and has since spread to include locally organized events like the one in Fargo.
The theme of TEDx Fargo, on February 7, was THRIVE. Carl’s presentation focused on American farmers’ challenge of feeding the world’s population of 7,000,000,000 people. He discussed how the ag industry is thriving, with innovative leaders finding new ways to feed the world. Because to American farmers, feeding the world population “is not just our goal, it is our mission.”
